The telemedicine platform Docline is the first to offer its electronic prescription service for free to all Spanish doctors. This provides more than 10 million Spaniards with the possibility of accessing the electronic prescription. This contributes to avoid the use of paper and allow real-time connection with pharmacies.
During the current Covid-19 pandemic, the launch of the electronic prescription helps to prevent the contagion and spread of the virus. Allowing doctors to prescribe medicines to their patients electronically helps to comply with safety measures for both parties.
Docline enables patients to receive the electronic prescription through their mobile phone, without the need to download any app and avoiding paper. In addition, they can connect with their doctor through encrypted and secure video consultation. In this way, patients receive quality online health care while complying with the RGPD data protection law.
