Covid-19 is accelerating digital trends across all industries and communication technology is right at the top of the priority list for IT spending.
The outbreak of the virus could lead to major business disruption – such as the inability to repay delivery services or the loss of a major client – over the next six months. Survey results also show that a substantial number of respondents expect the policies implemented by their organisations in response to the outbreak to be permanent.
Mobile messaging, using channels like SMS, Voice, RCS and WhatsApp can be of great help in monitoring health conditions without meeting face to face. Given the severity of Covid-19, healthcare providers need patient communications to be fast, automated, interactive, traceable and meaningful.
