Today, we celebrate that we have signed a collaboration agreement with the Health Institution, Consorci Sanitari Alt Penedès- Garraf in order to promote innovation in the health sector.
Barcelona Health Hub signed, this morning, a collaboration agreement with the Health Consortium of Alt Penedès- Garraf. This agreement will be intended to promote innovation and the transfer of new technologies to the health system and thus the sector.
The aim of the agreement is to develop the potential of innovative technologies and ideas within the Health Consortium of Alt Penedès- Garraf. Thus allowing to share opportunities and accelerate the process of digital transformation within the health entity itself.
The Health Consortium of Alt Penedès- Garraf
The Health Consortium of Alt Penedès- Garraf is a public health organization formed by four different centers: the Residence-Hospital Sant Camil; Sant Antoni Abat Hospital; the County Hospital of Alt Penedès and the Rehabilitation Centre. It has 1,800 professionals in multiple disciplines and specialties.
This entity provides both social and healthcare services to 35 municipalities in the counties of Alt Penedès and Garraf, thus reaching a population of roughly 250.000 people. The entity has 280 acute care beds; 165 social healthcare beds and 68 residential care beds.
Moreover, CSAPG follows a strategy of promoting innovation within its centers with the further objective of incorporating new technologies into the task of client care. This allows the consortium to promote the development of the professional careers of its extensive team.
