II Quirónsalud Foundation Awards Call for Healthcare Innovation and Digital Transformation seeks to recognise those initiatives that favour the improvement of healthcare practice and the use of new technologies within the Spanish health sector; it is an open call to all professionals within the health sector, both public and private.
The digital era and new technologies have provided innumerable changes in the health sector in recent years, bringing great improvements in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and transforming healthcare practice for the benefit of patients.
With the aim of contributing to the improvement of knowledge through innovation and digital transformation, the Quirónsalud Foundation announces the second edition for of the Knowledge Generation Awards, aimed at promoting those projects that favour innovation in healthcare practice and the use of new technologies within the Spanish health sector. All this with the ultimate goal of projecting these stimuli within our professional and academic environment, as well as disseminating their results and conclusions.
The awards are open to all professionals in the health sector, both public and private, and the two best initiatives in healthcare innovation, in the seed phase, will each be awarded 12,500 euros. These awards are designed for projects that contemplate the generation of innovative developments, strategies or technological utilities that entail an improvement in healthcare; as well as 12,500 euros for each of the two best initiatives in digital transformation, in the seed phase, which may be presented to any professional or owner of a project that favours such transformation in any field of healthcare.
The submission deadline for the awards will be open from 5 February to 3 April 2020 and those interested should submit their applications by completing the forms available here.
