Designing Healthcare from Within: TISAC Launches the First Edition of the Healthcare Service Design Course

Healthcare systems are undergoing a period of profound transformation. However, many organizations continue to face structural challenges: fragmented processes, improvable experiences, and teams working under constant pressure.

In this context, a key question emerges: are healthcare services well designed?

With this concern as a starting point, TISAC - Tecnologia en Innovación en Salud launches the First Edition of the Healthcare Service Design Course, a 30-hour program (April–June 2026) focused on applying Service Design methodologies in real and complex healthcare environments.

Designing with Method

Service design enables the analysis of how patients, professionals, managers, and systems interact within complex organizational structures. It is not only about improving isolated processes, but about understanding the service as a whole and identifying structural opportunities for improvement.

The course offers a methodological approach that integrates:

  • A people-centered perspective
  • A systemic view of healthcare operations
  • Practical tools to analyze and redesign services
  • Design as a strategic discipline applied to healthcare management

The objective is to provide participants with a structured framework to approach service improvement from an integrated and practical perspective.

Who is it for?

The program is designed for:

  • Healthcare professionals interested in improving care experiences
  • Innovation and management teams
  • Quality and patient experience leaders
  • Consultants and strategic profiles within the healthcare sector

A Team with Real-World Experience

The first edition will be delivered by a faculty team with experience in healthcare transformation and applied innovation, combining strategic vision with hands-on expertise.

According to TISAC, this training initiative builds on years of work within the Ibero-American healthcare ecosystem, aiming to strengthen practical capabilities and create collaborative learning spaces.

How to Turn a Congress Booth into Real HCPs Engagement
Medical congresses remain key spaces for scientific exchange. But the way information is presented is changing. For years, booths with large screens and immersive experiences have aimed to capture attention. They work… at first. But they come with clear limitations: compatibility issues across different booth setups, limited use beyond the congress itself, and a strong dependence on internet connectivity. Today, the focus is shifting toward something else: versatile materials that work just as well at the booth, during MSL visits, or in follow-up meetings.
