Inclusive Technologies for Children: Embodied & Assistive Solutions in Digital Health
Inclusive Technologies for Children: Embodied & Assistive Solutions in Digital Health
- When? October 22, 19:00 CET
- Where? Barcelona Health Hub, Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau
What if technology could feel again and help every child be seen?
In Spain, nearly one in five children grows up with learning and developmental differences (ADHD, autism, dyslexia). Families cross schools, clinics, and therapies that rarely connect. Teachers and clinicians carry the load, while solutions stay fragmented.
This evening opens a living dialogue where founders, clinicians, and investors explore how assistive technologies and impact investment can link care, learning, and design - so inclusion becomes real in daily practice.
Shaping the conversation:
Daniel Oliver (Capital Cell) on the ethics of investment; Yago Rafael Tafalla Smit (Banco Sabadell) on finance that enables inclusion; Ivana Unković (Mental Growth Network) on connecting local action with European programs; Julia Leirado Silva & Santi Fuentemilla (Fab Lab Barcelona) on co-design with families and schools; Sergi Grau Carrión (NeurekaLAB) on early screening and digital empathy; Jaume Sánchez (3DThinks) on emotional design and inclusive communication; Misha Klimovsky & Nikita Krupsky (Neonoo) on embodied learning and screen-free therapeutic play.
Moderation: Maria Ripoll Bartrolí, Head of Open Innovation & Digital Transformation, Barcelona & Madrid Health Hub.
