NEWLINK opens a new office in Barcelona

FEBRUARY 6, 2026 BHH News

Barcelona, January 19, 2026 – Newlink Spain, a strategic communications consultancy, and Both, the Culture & People Division of Newlink, a consultancy specialized in cultural transformation and talent, both with more than 25 years of experience, are consolidating the integration process launched in 2022 with the opening of a new office located on the inspiring and vibrant Tuset Street in Barcelona.

The new space, designed by interior designer Jorge Subietas, features a cutting-edge design under an open and collaborative concept that reflects Newlink’s philosophy and way of working: creating environments that foster connection, creativity, and engagement among teams, clients, and partners.

This milestone reinforces Newlink’s commitment to Barcelona as one of the strategic hubs for its growth in Southern Europe. In this context, Eduardo Menal has been appointed Managing Director of Newlink in Barcelona, from where he will lead business development and the market expansion strategy, strengthening the company’s presence and portfolio.

At the same time, Cristina Salvador, President of Both, the Culture Division of Newlink, expands her scope of responsibility by taking on the international development of the Culture division. According to Cristina Salvador, “This new office is a firm step forward in our integration into a group that has been a catalyst for creativity, cross-functionality, and ambition in our culture offering. It will undoubtedly reflect the new ways of working that we promote for our clients.”

In the words of Carlos Serantes and Gustavo Martínez, Chairman and CEO of Newlink Spain: “This new office represents much more than a change of space: it symbolizes the union of two teams, two organizations, and a shared vision. Barcelona is a key city for our growth and a meeting point for innovation, talent, and creativity. With this new phase, we reaffirm our commitment to continuing to generate value for our clients.”

Founded more than 25 years ago by Sergio Roitberg, Newlink has transformed the traditional consultancy model through its Orbital Thinking philosophy, which integrates three strategic dimensions — Brand, Reputation, and Culture — as essential pillars for generating value and authentic connections between people, brands, and organizations.

Headquartered in Miami, with offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Paris, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Lima, and Santo Domingo, the company continues to strengthen its national and international network, guided by a clear vision: transforming communication into a true driver of change and engagement.

About Newlink Spain

Newlink Spain is a strategic communications consultancy with more than 25 years of experience and offices in Madrid and Barcelona. It is part of the international Newlink group, one of the largest communications firms in the Spanish-speaking market, headquartered in Miami, with offices in Milan, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, and across Latin America, including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Argentina.

At Newlink, strategies are conceived, planned, and executed differently. In today’s hyperconnected world, it is no longer enough to communicate — it is essential to connect and generate engagement through a shared purpose, the intersection between the interests of stakeholders and those of the organization. Newlink’s proposals are based on collaborative work with brands and institutions, built on three major pillars: Brand, Reputation, and Organizational Culture. Both is the group’s global Culture division.
