As active members of the Barcelona Health Hub, Omnios shares a common goal: transforming the healthcare system through technology. Their commitment is focused on applied artificial intelligence aimed at enhancing care quality, reducing administrative burden, and ensuring a more human and efficient experience for both professionals and patients.

Based in Barcelona, with over 120 projects implemented across Europe and the Americas, Omnios specialises in natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI technologies, designing practical solutions for clinical and social environments.
Some of the most impactful initiatives in the healthcare field include:

  • Clinical documentation anonymisation, enabling legally and ethically compliant information sharing for research, training, or patient referrals.
  • Real-time simultaneous translation and transcription, improving communication in emergency services or consultations with multilingual patients.
  • Voice-enabled forms, allowing individuals with visual or technological limitations to complete healthcare or social procedures through natural conversation.

Currently, Omnios is developing new lines of innovation such as:

  • Automated generation of hospital discharge reports, saving time and improving document standardisation.
  • Intelligent coding of healthcare activities, aimed at enhancing the quality of data submitted to CatSalut.
  • AI tools for generating automated clinical summaries, helping professionals make faster, more informed decisions during consultations.

Omnios believes that artificial intelligence should not replace the human factor but enhance it. That’s why they design solutions grounded in real-world usage, with intuitive interfaces and seamless integration into existing systems.

As part of the Barcelona Health Hub ecosystem, Omnios seeks to share knowledge, foster synergies, and continue putting technology at the service of people.

Omnios: Understandable, Applicable, and Human-Centred AI.
