Robopedics proudly announces that it has been recognized as one of the winning scaleups of the #SantanderX Global Challenge | Reimagine Silver Age, an international program driven by SantanderX in collaboration with Philips and the Oxentia Foundation to identify innovative solutions addressing the major challenges of aging.
The award ceremony took place on 12 November at Philips’ new global headquarters in Amsterdam, an inspiring setting where entrepreneurs from around the world shared experiences and insights. This edition attracted more than 500 candidates from 11 countries; ultimately, six winners—three startups and three scaleups—were selected for their impact potential, innovation, and commitment to improving quality of life.
Through its bionic system Awake, Robopedics works to democratize the recovery of mobility—and dignity—for millions of people who have suffered a stroke. The company believes that technology can and must be a tool for inclusion, autonomy, and hope.
Robopedics sincerely thanked SantanderX, Philips, and the Oxentia Foundation for their commitment to purpose-driven entrepreneurship and innovation, and congratulated the fellow winners:
- Scaleups: CarePredict, Elevvo Therapeutics
- Startups: Ellyfe Ltd, Health Intelligence Solutions (HIS), and Point Pressure.
The company also celebrated its inclusion in the #SantanderX 100 community and praised its outstanding team—led by Ana Alemán Villanueva and Lucía Martínez Baldoví—for supporting the most promising projects within SantanderX’s global entrepreneurship network, providing access to resources, mentors, and growth opportunities. Special thanks were extended to the Philips Spain team led by Miguel De Foronda and to the HQ team with Clara Sattler de Sousa e Brito and Katherina Martin Abello.
