Telemedicina – Salud en línea interviews Sandra D’Agostino, Undersecretary of Digital Government of the Province of Buenos Aires

BHH partner Telemedicina – Salud en línea is a media specialized in transmitting in clear language all that ICT can do to improve people’s health. It’s intended to be a bridge between ICT, the medical community and the common citizen.

Recently, they interviewed Sandra D’Agostino, Undersecretary of Digital Government of the Province of Buenos Aires in Argentina. She spoke with Telemedicina – Salud en línea about the balance of her first year in office. It’s a period marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, but also by the implementation of a strategic plan to modernise the provincial public administration that focused on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT). That involved, for example, allocating US$ 5 million to the creation of its own datacenter, as well as the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure to reduce the digital divide for an office that today provides services to 52 public bodies. “I don’t see a government without the use of ICT,” said Mrs. D’Agostino.
