Accredited courses on health entrepreneurship for the BHH community – #BHHMembersInitiatives
The Medical Education start-up and BHH member Xpeer Medical Education is now offering 1-month of free access to its full premium curriculum on health entrepreneurship for all members of the whole BHH community. The curriculum, which can be accessed via Xpeer‘s mobile app and website, has been developed in collaboration with the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs, grants up to 4 official credits from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), and showcases the experience of successful entrepreneurs who offer their mentorship to the global healthcare community at Xpeer.
Xpeer is the global reference in digital medical education and has built an innovative digital platform to train healthcare professionals via on-demand microlearning video courses, in which users can also book personal one-to-one meetings with course authors. Xpeer’s entrepreneurship channel, which contains so far 7 (one hour long) courses – 4 of them EACCME accredited – and 2 shorter masterclasses, covers a broad range of educational topics within health innovation and entrepreneurship.
The four accredited courses are entitled “Business scale-up strategy” (authored by business strategy expert Mark Fenner), “Intellectual Property in the United States” (by Regional Director of the US Patent Office Mollybeth Kocialsky and Patent attorney Robert Traver), “Start-up fundraising during the
pandemic” (by early-stage capital expert Karl Dakin) and “Philanthropreneurship” (by Scott Arthur and James Hodge, Vice Chancellors of Advancement for the University of Colorado). The whole program has been conceived and reviewed by Arlen Meyers, CEO and President of the Society of Physician
Entrepreneurs.
The curriculum includes three additional courses entitled “Digital health entrepreneurship” (by Todd Saxton, Associate Professor at IU Kelley School of Business), “Perspectives on entrepreneurship” (by several authors) and “Digital health response to the pandemic” (which showcases the experience of
BHH members Cristian Pascual, CEO of Mediktor, and Nuria Pastor Hernández, CEO of humanITcare).
The two masterclasses in the program, which explore more specific topics within health entrepreneurship, are entitled “Scaling up digital innovation” (by Marc Lange, Secretary-General of the European Health Telematics Association) and “Motivated money” (by Karl Dakin).
To gain your 1-month of free access to these courses, type the invitation code “BHHPARTNER” in the reference code in the Xpeer app before June 30th 2021.
