This Wednesday June 2nd at 15:00 hrs CEST, BHH member Esade organizes a webinar about “A trip to the innovation of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona“.

The case “SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital’s Journey to Innovation” written by Marcel Planellas, Manel Peiró and Suzanne Jenkins, from Esade Business School, has recently been published in the Harvard Business Case Library as part of the North American Research Case Association (NACRA) collection.

This is a longitudinal case study of the innovation process driven by the management team of the Hospital Sant Joan Déu in Barcelona over the last ten years. It is a case from which useful lessons can be learned for other organizations currently facing the challenge of driving innovation.

At this webinar, the authors and protagonists of the case will address the differences between research and innovation, the management of a change process in a professional organization and the experience of promoting different innovation strategies in a hospital.
