Mediktor participates in AXA’s Digital Healthcare platform
Recently the Community of Insurance Magazine held an interesting interview with Cristian Pascual, founder of Mediktor and President of Barcelona Health Hub: “At Mediktor we are very happy to be the artificial intelligence-based triage tool of AXA’s Digital Healthcare Platform.”
Cristian talks about the ability of Mediktor as the most accurate virtual medical assistant for triage and pre-diagnosis. He also describes the impact of Covid-19 on the adoption of telemedicine worldwide and the adoption of digital solutions. Several studies have described a very high peak of telemedicine use during periods of confinement, for obvious reasons. Among them, the study presented by Barcelona Health Hub and ESADE: the #YoPacienteDigital project, a study on virtual health consultation and its benefits for the healthcare system.
Mediktor is also excited to be the artificial intelligence-based triage tool for AXA’s Digital Healthcare Platform. Here, the Mediktor solution is used for symptom assessment to suggest the next best option within the services available in AXA’s DHP. The recent launch of the Digital Healthcare Platform by AXA and Microsoft is a clear example of how large companies are committed to digital health and telemedicine.
They announced their collaboration at the Giant Health event, where Cristian had the opportunity to co-present their use case alongside Somesh Shandra, Chief Medical Officer at AXA. This is a typical use case within the integration possibilities of Mediktor : guiding patients to the right level of care by suggesting the next best action to the platform user.
