Apply now for the EIT Health Start-Ups Meet Healthcare Providers – #BHHMembersInitiatives
The EIT Health Start-Ups Meet Healthcare Providers (SMHCP) is a challenge-based accelerator programme that connects promising start-ups to a variety of European healthcare providers, such as public/private hospitals, municipal health authorities, or health insurance companies. The aim of the programme is to ease market access for start-ups by connecting them to healthcare providers that pose specific challenges from within their local health system.
In 2021 they have partnered with Children’s University Hospital Latvia and Diakonie Baden-Württemberg and they now invite start-ups working on potential solutions for their challenges to apply for the programme. Please note that a third healthcare provider will be joining the programme in the upcoming weeks, so stay alert for a THIRD challenge.
Challenges for 2021:
- Online interaction space for communities of patients and their families as part of an online children’s health ecosystem.
- Integrating telematic infrastructures into standard of care
Full description of the challenges, as well as programme requirements, is available on the website.
The deadline for applications is 3 September 2021. They are also organizing two webinars aimed to provide a detailed overview of the programme, its timeline, and the application process on 14 July 2021 at 11am CET and 1 September 2021 at 11:00 PM CET.
