Dedalus locates in Barcelona Health Hub its R&D and Innovation Hub on digital health in Catalonia
BHH member Dedalus, leading healthcare and diagnostic software provider in Europe and healthcare IT companies in the world, locates a R&D and innovation Hub on digital health in the Barcelona Health Hub ecosystem.
With this high-performance center, the global healthcare IT company aims to drive the development of components of its digital health, analytics and artificial intelligence platform, the national and international deployment of its open electronic health record platform (HCIS), based on openEHR, as well as the development of disruptive and innovative projects for its clients in Catalonia, Iberia, Europe and the rest of the world.
As part of the scope of its growth strategy in Iberia and Catalonia region, the alliance with Barcelona Health Hub, an association that promotes innovation in digital health and its transfer to the sector, linking start-ups, health organizations, corporations and investors, means for Dedalus a more active role in the Catalan healthcare innovation ecosystem to accompany healthcare and life sciences organizations in their digital and technological transformation pathways to improve the experience of patients and professionals.
