Femtech Spain Map 2025
Innovation in women’s health is growing in Spain, but until now there was no clear overview of whom the players are and in which areas they are working. That’s why, from Co-Salud and Digital Health Connector, they decided to create the Femtech Spain Map 2025—a tool to give visibility to the initiatives that are transforming women’s health through technology.
The process began with desk research and an open survey to identify new initiatives. Based on the solutions they found, they developed a classification system that allowed them to organize the ecosystem into different categories:
- Endometriosis: companies developing solutions for one of the most overlooked gynecological conditions.
- Women’s cancers: startups addressing detection, diagnosis, and patient support for breast, ovarian, and other female cancers.
- Women’s health & wellbeing: apps and services aimed at improving quality of life and holistic care.
- Maternity: platforms supporting pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, with a focus on family support.
- Menopause: digital tools to monitor symptoms and improve quality of life during this stage.
- Mental health: companies working on prevention and treatment of psychological impacts across women’s life stages.
- Menstrual health: apps and devices that track cycles and support fertility management.
- Reproductive health & contraception: innovations expanding options for family planning and fertility.
- Osteoporosis: initiatives focused on diagnosis and management of this common postmenopausal condition.
- Female rehabilitation: digital solutions for pelvic floor care and functional recovery.

The map highlights a wide variety of initiatives—many still relatively unknown—and confirms that the FemTech sector in Spain is undergoing strong development.
Their goal is to continue updating the map, adding more categories, and engaging with corporates and investors interested in supporting this emerging market.
