The agreement has been signed by Dr. Olga Pané i Mena, manager of Hospital del Mar, and Cristian Pascual, president of Barcelona Health Hub.
The manager of Hospital del Mar, Olga Pané, explains that "Hospital del Mar is undergoing an intense transformation, with the expansion of the center and the approval of its new Strategic Plan, which places digital innovation at the forefront of the future of the institution.
That is why the agreement we sign with Barcelona Health Hub will give us access to new tools to place Hospital del Mar at the forefront of the use of new technologies to offer the best care to our patients.” The president of BHH, Cristian Pascual, assures that “it is essential to join forces in the health sector to promote digital health.
I am convinced that the collaboration with Hospital del Mar will contribute to further accelerating the innovation and design of new technological solutions and their transfer to daily clinical practice.
Therefore, the agreement will help improve people's lives and make our health system more sustainable." With this agreement, Barcelona Health Hub expands its collaboration policy with large public and private corporations, such as those recently signed with Barcelona City Council, BBVA or Mobile World Capital.
