The Terrassa Health Consortium joins Barcelona Health Hub
The Joan Costa Roma Foundation (FJCR) of the Terrassa Health Consortium (CST) and Barcelona Health Hub, a non-profit association that aims to promote innovation in digital health and transfer it to the health sector, signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of establishing synergies to promote research and innovation in digital health, as well as validating new solutions for the healthcare ecosystem.
One of the objectives of CST and FJCR, in addition to providing health care, is to expand scientific knowledge and transfer it to society, improving the prevention and care of people with health problems. For this reason, and within the framework of this collaboration, CST is made available to companies that are part of the BHH to identify the needs of the sector and offer support in the validation of their technologies in the required health environment. In addition, it also facilitates the possibility of collaborating in multiple projects, both external and internal.
CST is made up of more than 3,200 professionals and has 19 care centers: eight Primary Care Centers, two hospitals, four Mental Health Centers, three Social Care Centers, a Sports Medicine Center (CAR Sant Cugat) and the only prison hospital in the state.
