Viduet Health achieves highest score for heart failure care in European Union tender TIQUE-PCP
A consortium comprising BHH & MHH member Viduet Health, UMC Utrecht, and Hospital Gelderse Vallei for TIQUE-PCP has now extended testing of their self-management application for heart failure patients—already proven successful in the Netherlands—to Spain, Sweden, and Italy.
Viduet Health, member of the Dutch Health Hub, is an innovative health technology company focused on developing personalized solutions for self-management in healthcare, especially for patients with chronic illnesses such as hypertension, heart failure, COPD or diabetes. The Viduet application empowers patients to take an active role in managing their health conditions by providing tailored tools and insights, designed to improve outcomes and enhance the efficiency of care delivery. Viduet Health collaborates with leading healthcare institutions and consortia across Europe.
For TIQUE-PCP, unique heart failure care pathways will be created, tailored to the needs of each separate region. Smart self-management and integrated remote care will give heart failure patients more control over their health, while relieving their caregivers. The goal is to achieve better healthcare outcomes and significant savings in the three regions.
Early this year, the first heart failure patients from BHH partner Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona will begin using the application to test the tailor-made Viduet solution, specifically designed for the Catalan region.
