AI & mHealth Challenge 2024: Event Speeches

The AI & mHealth Challenge 2024 organized by BHH member GooApps will not only bring together teams to develop technological solutions in the healthcare sector but also feature an outstanding program of presentations. These talks will be delivered by experts in various areas of digital health, who will share their insights and perspectives on how technology can transform the healthcare system.

Among the speakers is Lourdes González, head of technological accessibility at Fundación ONCE, who will address the challenges and opportunities in making digital health inclusive. Her presentation will highlight how to overcome barriers faced by people with disabilities when accessing digital health services, providing practical examples of inclusive design.

Lucho Domínguez, an expert in strategic design and user experience (UX), will explain the Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) methodology, which helps companies develop products that truly meet customer needs, minimizing the risk of product rejection.

Meanwhile, Isaac Cano, CEO of Health Circuit, will present digital solutions that improve treatment management, optimizing collaboration among healthcare professionals and promoting patient self-management. A notable use case will be surgical prehabilitation, demonstrating how these technologies can enhance clinical outcomes.

Fabio Uribe, a specialist in immersive technologies, will discuss how virtual and augmented reality are transforming healthcare, improving both the efficiency and personalization of treatments. Uribe will share success stories in patient rehabilitation and medical training.

Lastly, Mar Gomis, responsible for Digital Impulse at Hospital de Sant Pau, will offer eight practical tips for leading digital innovation in healthcare, emphasizing the importance of leadership and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The event will take place over three sessions in October 2024, offering a unique opportunity for participants to learn from industry leaders and collaborate on creating innovative solutions that enhance the healthcare system.
