Join the Metastasis Challenge to find a cure for cancer

The Metastasis Challenge is an IRB Barcelona initiative that calls society to action in the fight against metastasis. IRB Barcelona wants to appeal to citizens, organisations, and companies to participate in raising 5 million euros, which will allow them to accelerate research, recruit new talent, purchase cutting-edge technology and equip new laboratories.

Despite breakthroughs in cancer research in recent years, metastasis continues to be responsible for 90% of cancer-related deaths. Metastasis is the spread of cancer to different organs in the body. While we know quite a lot about tumours and how to treat them, there is still a long way to go before we will be able to diagnose, prevent and cure metastasis.

The Metastasis Challenge will allow IRB Barcelona to develop frontier research against cancer.

You can make your donation to the Metastasis Challenge HERE an help IRB Barcelona achieve this great challenge. However, there are other ways to join the challenge. You can simply organize your own "Mission: Possible." If you're an athlete, you're getting married or your company, school or club is having a party... you can get involved in the fight against metastasis by launching your own campaign and help IRB Barcelona go further.
