BHH member Pallapupas is thrilled to share news that fills them with pride: they have been awarded the Josep Trueta Plaque for Sanitary Merit! 

This recognition, granted by the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia, reaffirms their mission to make the healthcare system more humane through humor.

After nearly 25 years of working to improve the emotional well-being of patients, families, and healthcare professionals, this award represents much more than a tribute. It is an encouragement that drives them to continue reaching more people and hospitals, demonstrating that emotional care is just as important as physical care.

This acknowledgment is also a profound thank you to all the people and entities who have accompanied Pallapupas on this journey. To the healthcare professionals and hospitals who have trusted them and made it possible for humor to become an essential part of hospital care. To the families and patients who have opened their hearts to Pallapupas and believed in the transformative power of laughter. And finally, to the organizations, administrations, partners, and donors who have supported them and walked alongside them to build a more humane healthcare system.
