Mujeres en Farma launches its Career Advisory program: #DosAlCubo - #BHHMembersInitiatives
APRIL 13, 2022
BHH News
BHH member Mujeres en Farma is an interactive platform composed of women and men that has two main objectives: on the one hand, to increase the presence of women in senior positions, and, on the other, give exposure to the Pharmaceutical Industry as a sector committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. This past week, Mujeres en Farma announced the first edition of its career advisory program called "#DosAlCubo".
#DosAlCubo is aimed at women in middle management positions in the pharmaceutical industry, who seek to strengthen their networking skills and receive advice through intimate relationships with senior mentors.
In the pharmaceutical industry only 1 in 4 senior leaders are women. Out of these, only 12% hold business positions and only 6% General Management positions. Therefore, this program arises as a response to the need to empower women in middle management positions andprovide a space for them to informally discuss concerns regarding their career and to identify the next steps in their careers.
#DosalCubo’s first edition, will take place from May to July 2022, and will consist of a monthly meeting of 1-2 hours between the mentor and the mentee. Among the confirmed mentors are: Beatriz Faro, President of Inflammation and Immunology for North America and Canada at Pfizer, Rosi Vivancos, General Manager of Allergan Aesthetics Iberia, and Amaya Echevarría, General Director of Gilead Sciences Austria.
To be chosen as a mentee one must be a woman, a member of Mujeres en Farma’s new platform, and have a middle management profile, with 7-15 years of experience. If you’d like to be considered for this program, complete the form. For more information, please contact Elisa Ciappi, Project Manager at Mujeres en Farma:
