Artificial intelligence is marking a turning point in the healthcare sector, enabling new capabilities in diagnostics, medical devices and clinical processes. This progress, however, also brings relevant challenges related to regulation, quality and safety that require careful and informed analysis. In this context, on June 11th, SGS will host an in-person event focused on understanding how to integrate AI responsibly within highly regulated healthcare environments.
The event will bring together professionals involved in the development, assessment, regulation and use of healthcare technologies to address key topics such as the application of artificial intelligence in medical devices and in vitro diagnostics, its alignment with MDR and IVDR regulatory frameworks, and the balance between technological innovation and regulatory compliance. The agenda includes contributions de SGS, Quibim, Lãberit, iPremom, Evalue – Tinexta Innovation Hub y EpisKey Medical Consulting, offering complementary expert perspectives across regulation, technology, innovation and R&D&I funding.
Through round tables and practical case studies, participants will share real implementation experiences, key learnings and funding opportunities for healthcare innovation projects. This event is particularly relevant for medical device and IVD manufacturers, regulatory professionals, consultants, R&D&I teams, and healthcare and technical professionals seeking to understand the real impact of artificial intelligence in the sector and connect with leading players in the healthcare ecosystem.
