AI & mHealth Challenge 2024: Mentors and members of the jury

The AI & mHealth Challenge 2024, organized by BHH member GooApps, is a pioneering event that integrates technology and health in a collaborative environment. This event will take place during October 2024, with three online sessions on the 3rd, 10th, and 17th, culminating in an in-person event on October 31st at the Milla del Conocimiento Margarita Salas in Gijón. Its goal is to bring together healthcare professionals, the pharmaceutical industry, and technology experts to address and solve the challenges of the Spanish public health system through innovative technological solutions.

The AI & mHealth Challenge 2024 will feature renowned professionals acting as mentors and jury members. The mentors will guide and advise the participating teams, sharing their knowledge and experience to ensure that the developed solutions are practical and effective. On the other hand, the jury members will evaluate the presented solutions, determining which ones are the most relevant, applicable, and scalable within the healthcare system context.

Among the mentors are Fabio Uribe, an expert in immersive technologies, Lourdes González, Head of Technological Accessibility at Fundación ONCE, Esteban Gómez, President of the Official College of Nursing of the Principality of Asturias (CODEPA), Jaume Sánchez, CEO of 3dthinks, Alba Arroyes, Innovation Manager at the Institut de Recerca Sant Pau, Tomàs Modroño, UX/UI Design Specialist at Interactius, and Eric García, CEO of GooApps.

The jury members include Emma González, Innovation Manager at the Ramón y Cajal Institute for Health Research, Lucho Domínguez, Innovation Leader at Interactius, Isaac Cano, CEO of Health-Circuit, Marc Espí, Artificial Intelligence Consultant, and Carlos Battyán, CEO of menntun & mQS. These experts will evaluate the presented solutions, ensuring they are innovative, viable, and relevant.

The AI & mHealth Challenge 2024 is a unique platform to develop technological solutions and promote cross-sector collaboration.
