How should health data be defined and used across Europe?

FEBRUARY 11, 2025 BHH Members Initiatives

A new European-wide consultation on health data will shape how health tech will be able to create new products and services across Europe using data from a wide variety of sources.

The consultation asks for feedback on how to describe health data, how this health data should be catalogued so it is discoverable, how you can apply for access to use health data and, if you are given access, how you can access technologies to analyse the data. How health data is managed across Europe will shape your future research, product development, and potential go to market strategies.

Barcelona-based BHH & MHH member Platformable is reaching out to all Barcelona and Madrid health tech to find out what is crucial to you and to get your feedback on how health data can be used responsibly and ethically to build your business future and serve your customers. Platformable will be making a submission to the consultation and invites other BHH & MHH members to join their response.
