Push the Boundaries of Healthcare Innovation: Apply to Start-ups Meet Pharma!
Are you ready to transform the future of healthcare? This is your chance to collaborate with Abbott through the EIT-Health Start-ups Meet Pharma programme and tackle some of the most critical challenges in healthcare innovation.
EIT-Health & Abbott are seeking innovative, minimally or non-invasive solutions to assess immune status and function in healthy individuals. The goal is to identify and quantify immune biomarkers using advanced approaches such as digital biomarkers, wearables, AI analytics, novel immune indicators, or non-invasive sampling.
The solution must:
- Use minimally invasive methods that eliminate the need for traditional blood draws, leveraging alternative samples such as blood spots, breath, saliva, stool, urine, skin swabs, sweat, interstitial fluid, nasal swabs, or data from wearable sensors.
- Enable analysis at the time of sampling or ensure sample stability at room temperature, avoiding the need for extended cold storage.
- Provide clinically meaningful measures of immune health influenced by nutrition and backed by existing scientific evidence.
- Be cost-effective and comparable to or more affordable than current clinical sampling and analysis methods.
The ideal solution will either integrate seamlessly with existing clinical analysis infrastructure or include its own proprietary technology. It must deliver quantitative, interpretable, and clinically relevant insights at the point of care—particularly within the operational demands of clinical trials.
Why participate?
Start-ups Meet Pharma is more than just a startup programme—it's a unique gateway to potential partnerships, co-development opportunities, and strategic alliances with life science corporations.
How it works
