AUGUST 21, 2024 BHH Members Initiatives

BHH member DKV Seguros is promoting impact innovation in health, Insurtech and enviromental health with their DKV Emerge. It's an open innovation program by a leading health insurance provider in Spain.

The program aims to foster transformative solutions in three key areas: Digital Health, Insurtech, and Environmental Health.

Challenges:

  • Femtech: identification and early detection of risks during pregnancy, with a particular emphasis on conditions such as preeclampsia.
  • Insurtech: solutions based on behavioral analytics that identify the reasons behind users' decisions and help foster engagement with DKV's digital assets. Also, with the aim to reduce the digital divide in the interactions between users and DKV.
  • Environmental Health Challenge: identification and reduction of environmental toxins at home and work spaces. The aim is to contribute to environmental sustainability and foster healthier living environments.

Who can apply?

Innovative startups that provide solutions to these challenges, that are in a scale-up phase and want to expand their market. All solutions have to be based on Europe and have legal and regulatory compliance standards. Applications for the DKV Emerge must be submitted before the 31st of August.
