When healthcare and the environment go hand in hand

BHH member UrbanFisio, the home physiotherapy startup, has closed an agreement with Switch Motion for the hiring of its new company fleet, so that UrbanFisio physiotherapists travel with Silence electric vehicles. UrbanFisio physiotherapists travel more than 300,000 km. per year, practically all of them on urban routes.

As Eva Pascual, CMO of UrbanFisio, explains, "our goal is that our kilometers have the minimum impact on the environment, which is why we are replacing the combustion cars and motorcycles of our physiotherapists with our own fleet of Silence electric vehicles. And Switch Motion has provided us with the ideal hiring formula."

Thus, Silence, Switch Motion and UrbanFisio join in the challenge of achieving more sustainable urban mobility, providing UrbanFisio physiotherapists with electric vehicles to move through the city centers of Madrid and Barcelona.

Turning this desire into reality was not easy, since UrbanFisio physiotherapists go directly to their patients' homes from their particular home, without passing through a central office where they could park and recharge a vehicle. Finding a fully electric vehicle that did not require charging stations to be installed in employees' homes was quite a challenge. ACCIONA's removable and interchangeable batteries, which equip all Silence vehicles, were the solution to the problem. In this way, the vehicles have unlimited autonomy; it is enough to change the battery at any of the Battery Stations you can find throughout the city.
