Cuideo closes a funding round of 1.6 million to expand its service to France

Cuideo, a leading senior care platform, has closed a 1,6 million euro financial round led by Alma Mundi Ventures and followed by main Cuideo investors such as Inderhabs, Soller Invest and Godo media group.

The operation has been structured through the insure-tech fund of Alma Mundi, specialiced in delivering value to insurance sector. The funds will be dedicated to open operation in France and start delivering service in Paris area. “France is the second largest economy in the Eurozone and in terms of rules and regulations it is very similar to Spain. This allows us to replicate in the French market the business processes that we have implemented in successfully Spain. This is, without a doubt, a challenge and the first international experience of the company, although we are sure that France will be the first step in a more ambitious international expansion of Cuideo,” says Adrià Buzón, CEO at Cuideo.

Cuideo is four years in the market and has developed a home care servicios based on technology to deliver a more efficient, quick and relieve service to the families with senior care needs. During 2020, Cuideo serves 25.000 families across Spain and expect to close a GMV (gross merchants value) of 30 million euros, x2 the revenue generated in 2019.
