Join us for the next #BHHSeries online event organized in collaboration with B.Braun Group on Wednesday April 28th at 6pm CET! This month’s episode will discuss “Hospital Processes Efficiency in the Operating Room”.
We have seen a shift in healthcare those past years, where the patient takes a more central role: he is more empowered and is a stronger decision maker about his own health. Hospitals are also evolving from fee for service to value based healthcare and are improving their own processes to make this value based healthcare possible. What matters is not how many patients you can see or treat but how you can improve their outcomes based on certain metrics such as reducing hospital stay, readmissions, improving preventive care, etc.
In this panel, organized in collaboration with B.Braun Group, we will talk about value based healthcare and value based procurement, why it is important for hospital managers & healthcare professionals as the first players to implement value in their processes and health offering, becoming Lean hospitals and to keep on providing clinical excellence to their patients. We will be focusing more particularly on the operating room and will discuss what can be done to maximize value for hospitals and professionals and the impact on patient outcomes & the healthcare systems.
In this episode, the panel consists of experts in their field:
- Naira Marín, Global Business Services Manager at B.Braun Group
- Thomas Zepf, Director Surgical Asset Management Consulting at B.Braun Group
- Meritxell Cucala, Director Innovation & Projects at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau
- Marc Sales, Director Strategy & Processes at Essentia
The panel will be moderated by Aline Noizet, Chief International Officer at Barcelona Health Hub.
