ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones (ICEX) and the Economic & Commercial Office of Spain in Singapore (OFECOMES) launch the first edition of Singapore Challenge, an immersion and advisory program focused on life sciences Spanish companies (e-health, medtech and medical biotechnology). The goal of this program is the growth of the Spanish company thanks to the opportunities that Singapore ecosystem offers, which is one of the world reference locations in these areas.

The program Singapore Challenge consists of two weeks of immersion for the selected companies. A specialized agency will be in charge of networking activities, workshops, mentoring, etc, so that the companies can come into contact, first hand, with the main agents and companies in this ecosystem. In addition, they will learn about the options offered by Singapore to access other markets in Southeast Asia and Australia.

Spanish startups and companies in the medtech or biotech sectors with highly innovative technologies that also meet the following requirements:

• A highly innovative and cutting-edge technology solution applicable to the medical sector.
• Interested in commercial development, product validation (living lab), partner search, collaboration and co-development and/or investment.
• In commercialization phase and invoicing (preferably in growth phase). Biotech companies are exempt from this requirement.
• Seeking investment from specialized funds in the health sector.
