In this #MeetTheMembers interview meet Javier de Oca, CEO and Co-Founder of IOMED. IOMED software accelerates clinical research by reducing time when carrying out observational studies, clinical and feasibility trials, among others. At the same time, it allows hospitals to improve the quality of their services. It has developed a Natural Language Processing (NLP) tool that allows hospitals to structure their information, identifying clinically relevant variables from medical notes and structuring them into datasets. These datasets can then be easily queried for in order to obtain all data that is needed. Data protection is a priority within this scheme, since IOMED is GDPR compliant.
