• Tim, thank you for joining the BHH Stand at the upcoming edition of 4YFN. Can you please introduce yourself and tell us about acitoflux?

Hej! I very much appreciate the opportunity to introduce ourselves today. My name is Tim, I’m Digital Health Ecosystem Lead & Venture Builder at acitoflux – an independent and international company builder and operative VC.

We co-create and invest in high-quality health innovations, and we believe that strong and global collaborations are essential to offer both health startups and ventures a platform for growth and acceleration.

In fact, an important element of our core business is building bridges between corporates, startups, and investors. We build on a vast network to connect the dots between these relevant stakeholders. To help innovators mature for such investment and venture processes, we as a company builder also offer strategic advisory with our expertise knowledge in the technology, business, investment & design domain.

• Can you elaborate about what’s new at acitoflux these days?

Sure! What’s really a great announcement is that we are currently conducting a digital health investment study! We will focus on the overall investment sentiment across Europe and showcase where, yet to date, the most promising opportunities are for startups and scaleups to get funded. The results of this study will be published at some major events in May 2024, additional information will follow asap.

We are also very happy to have the Barcelona Health Hub partnering with us to conduct this study, and I’d like to take this opportunity to encourage all investors and startups to participate in this survey, which would help us tremendously, providing an overview on the European health investment ecosystem.

• This is your first time at the BHH Stand in the Digital Health Area of 4YFN. Could you share why you decided to join Barcelona Health Hub this year?

It is indeed our first time. We actively joined forces with the Barcelona Health Hub at 4YFN this year because we believe to connect and partner with the best innovators who are motivated to co-create the future of digital health together. That’s what we are looking for.

• What are you excited about at the upcoming 4YFN conference? What can we expect from your stand?

We feel that 4YFN as well as the Barcelona Health Hub stand at the center of the digital health arena will be even more impressive this year. As capital is a major pillar of our services, we are very excited to connect and exchange with the international investor community which offers a unique program at the event.

Besides, we are thrilled to co-host the BHH’s Networking Event on Tuesday evening at Hall 8.0, so we’d like to encourage all health enthusiasts to join and connect with the digital health ecosystem in a vibrant atmosphere while enjoying some drinks.

Another highlight for us will be to participate in an investor panel on Thursday morning, where we’ll also provide a first glimpse on our digital health investment study!
