Live Webinar: Can people afford to pay for health care?

The WHO Barcelona Office for Health Systems Financing & the European Commission invite you to take part in the #EUHPP Live Webinar: "Can people afford to pay for health care? If not, what can countries do about it?". It's organized by DG SANTE and will take place next June 4th at 10hrs CEST. 

Can people afford to pay for health care? If not, what can countries do about it? The webinar will answer these questions and will highlight:

• New evidence on financial protection in 40 countries, with a spotlight on Belgium, France and Spain.
• The policy choices that undermine financial protection, particularly in primary care settings.
• What countries in Europe are doing to reduce financial hardship.
• Why do many countries fail to cover the whole population? How can counties mitigate the negative effects of co-payments? Can governments afford to pay for financial protection? Is private health insurance the answer?
