• Ernest, thank you for joining the BHH Stand at the upcoming edition of 4YFN. Can you please introduce yourself and tell us about B. Braun?

Hello! I'm Ernest Buil, having spent over a decade at B. Braun as an Innovation IT Manager, I strive to learn at every step, aiming to bridge technology with business areas to identify and develop the most suitable business cases. B. Braun is strategically positioning itself as a digital medical solutions company, offering enhanced value to our clients, ranging from patients to hospitals.

• Can you elaborate about what’s new at B. Braun these days?

Building on the previous response, we're focusing on making hospital processes more efficient using the more adequate digital technologies in each case. A key area is our work with cloud solutions for hospital applications. Utilizing cloud technology brings numerous advantages, such as improved data management, enhanced scalability, and greater accessibility, all contributing to more effective healthcare delivery.

• This is your first time at the BHH Stand in the Digital Health Area of 4YFN. Could you share why you decided to join Barcelona Health Hub this year?

Our decision to join Barcelona Health Hub stems from a desire to be part of the ecosystem, to share our acquired knowledge, and to foster interactions and partnerships with clients and other businesses. Additionally, it's an excellent opportunity for talent acquisition and to showcase our advancements in the field.

• It’s still a few weeks away, but what are you excited about at the upcoming 4YFN conference? What can we expect from your stand?

At the upcoming 4YFN, expect to see our team, enthusiastic about collaborating within the ecosystem and representing our company. Our stand will reflect our commitments and advancements discussed earlier, showcasing our latest innovations and solutions in digital healthcare.

• Is there anything else you want to share with us?

I'd like to highlight the importance of embracing digital transformation in healthcare. It's not just about technological advancement, but also about how it can fundamentally improve patient care and operational efficiency.
