4YFN - Interview with Inbrooll

Barcelona Health Hub will shine again at 4YFN 2024, the startup business platform at the Mobile World Congress. The BHH Stand will take the center stage at the Digital Health Area, where you can connect with influential leaders, visionary investors, and the brightest minds in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

One of the companies you can meet at 4YFN is BHH member Inbrooll, engineering company dedicated to the design and development of products. It is a strategic supplier of technological products and solutions provides end-to-end product development. From the idea, through prototyping, industrialisation, laboratory testing, certification and even manufacturing.

Carlota de Font, Business Development of Inbrooll, is happy to share about their expectations for this next edition of 4YFN.

• Carlota, thank you for joining the BHH Stand at the upcoming edition of 4YFN. Can you please introduce yourself and tell us about Inbrooll?

Hello, I am Carlota de Font, Business Development at Inbrooll. Inbrooll is an engineering services company, founded in 2013 in Girona. We offer end-to-end product development services. We are ISO 13485 certified company which develops high-tech medical devices and/or solutions for companies all over the world, acquiring experience and specific knowledge in microfluidics, electronics, robotics and IoT, among others.

We work as well in different sectors, such as human, animal and plant health, HORECA, industrial, automotive and consumer goods. We develop highly technological devices for companies around the world.

• Can you elaborate about what’s new at Inbrooll these days?

In 2023 we have been certified ISO 13485 by the accredited body SGS for both engineering and assembly services.

This certification is essential for most of our customers in the healthcare sector and supports us in our specialisation, as in the last year we have been involved in the development of high precision products with high technological requirements.

• Previous years you have been present at the BHH Stand as well - we’re glad to see you returning to the Digital Health Area of Barcelona Health Hub. Could you share why you decided to join once again?

This is the second year that we will participate. The first edition was very useful for us to learn about new applications and developments, meet potential customers, meet with national and foreign customers, and start talking about new projects.

• It’s still a few weeks away, but what are you excited about at the upcoming 4YFN conference? What can we expect from your stand?

Our projects are usually preceded by NDA, so we cannot explain most of the things we do. But when a company approaches us with a specific project, we can apply all our knowledge, experience, and successful solutions. So, we invite companies with a project to be developed or in development to visit us, explain and listen how we can be useful for them.

• Is there anything else you want to share with us?

Well, perhaps as a summary, I would like to say that by us, everything is possible thanks to a multidisciplinary R&D team that works with commitment, excellence, trust and responsibility.
