ASHO surpasses 750,000 euros in public awards in 2025 and strengthens its leadership in healthcare coding 

The company expands its presence in the healthcare system with new contracts at the Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa, the Hospital Universitario Fundación Alcorcón, and the Consorci Sanitari Integral.

October 2025. – ASHO, a leading company in healthcare coding in Spain, continues to strengthen its role as a strategic partner in the digital transformation of hospitals and healthcare centers. In the second half of the year, the company has been awarded three new public tenders, bringing the total value of contracts in 2025 to more than €750,000.

“These new projects reinforce ASHO’s position as a benchmark in clinical coding and technological solutions applied to hospital management,” says Ruth Cuscó, Managing Director of ASHO. “Our commitment is to continue supporting healthcare centers in their transition toward more efficient, traceable, and secure digital models.”

Among the new awards are:

  • Consorci Sanitari Integral (CSI)
    Awarded service: Automatic coding for outpatient and emergency care areas, in SaaS mode.
  • Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa (CST)
    Awarded service: Coding of hospital discharge records.
  • Hospital Universitario Fundación Alcorcón (HUFA)
    Awarded service: Coding of inpatient discharge records.

These awards add to the contracts already obtained in the first half of the year with entities such as the Hospital Universitario de Burgos, Hospital de la Cerdanya, Hospital Universitario Príncipe de Asturias, MC Mutual, and the Consorci Sanitari Integral, among others.

According to Carlos Sevillano, Commercial Director of ASHO, “The incorporation of technologies such as artificial intelligence and natural language processing in clinical coding is key to advancing toward a more interoperable, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare system.”
