#BHHInterview with Manuel Marina of Idoven

Barcelona Health Hub had the pleasure to meet up with BHH member Idoven last week. BHH's Marja Huiskamp, Chief Communication Officer, seized the opportunity to talk to Manuel Marina, CEO & Co-Founder of Idoven.

Idoven is transforming cardiology using AI to ensure that no heart patient goes undiagnosed or untreated. They are partnering with Life Science companies and developing ECG-based disease biomarkers to identify patients and stratify their risk, as well as monitor cardiac adverse effects of cancer and other drugs.

Manuel shares the idea to found and create Idoven. Behind his belief that "the healthcare system needs to be digital," as a cardiologist himself, he felt the need for automatising tasks equally in Europe. That's why he created Idoven: to help support others doctors like him around the world. 

Although, Idoven is mainly focused in Europe, the deeptech algorithm company is also present in more than 31 countries in 5 continents.
