Both. A Newlink Company, a consultancy specialized in strategic communication, engagement, and corporate culture, has achieved B Corp certification as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. This recognition reinforces the company’s purpose: using engagement to humanize organizations and transform their cultures for a positive impact.

This certification acknowledges that Both People & Comms – A Newlink Company has successfully passed a rigorous evaluation process across five key areas: governance, environment, community, workers, and clients, achieving high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and corporate responsibility.

Lucas Hunter, Interim Executive Director of B Lab Spain, stated: “We are delighted to welcome Both. A Newlink Company to the B Corp community. This community works to reduce inequality, respect and regenerate the environment, strengthen communities, and create high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose. Both is a new member of the B Corp community, showing by example how these outcomes can be achieved.”

25 years driving more human organizations
Since 2000, Both. A Newlink Company has worked to strengthen the connection with the most valuable part of organizations: people. For the past five years, it has been part of the Newlink Group —headquartered in the United States, with a presence in six Latin American countries and offices in Madrid and Barcelona—, which has expanded its projection and international recognition.

Guided by the vision of “The Engagement Company”, the consultancy has supported companies and teams in cultural transformation processes that place purpose at the center. Its work is structured around three key pillars: organizational culture as a vehicle for sustainability; equality and inclusion for conscious leadership; and the integration of corporate purpose into both strategy and everyday business operations.

“Being certified under the B Corp business model is a major recognition of our commitment to using our communication and culture services as tools to help other organizations improve their social, environmental, and governance impact. Shared purpose and sustainability have been at the core of our offering for years. Now, as part of the B Corp community, we will be able to drive the transformation of companies toward more responsible and inclusive cultures on a larger scale,” said Marcela Ospina López, Vice President of Sustainability at Both. A Newlink Company.

Measurable impact that supports certification
Throughout its history, Both. A Newlink Company has turned its purpose into tangible action, guiding organizations through change processes linked to sustainability that generate real and measurable impact.

Both has served more than 1,500 unique clients over its 25 years. Among the initiatives launched to fulfill its purpose are: purpose and values definition programs for more than 20 companies; leadership and inclusive culture training for more than 8,000 people; and co-creation and awareness workshops and events on values, DEI, and ESG that reached more than 10,000 people.

In the year assessed for certification, the company delivered 61 projects for purpose-driven companies, representing 34% of its revenue, and 103 impact-improvement projects aimed at increasing positive social, environmental, and governance outcomes, accounting for 26% of total revenue.

The organization also promotes equity and diversity, with 80% of its team led by women, including its founder, Cristina Salvador, recently honored with the National Communication Award by the Government of Catalonia.

“Joining the B Corp movement is an important endorsement of our work and one of the most rewarding professional milestones for Both. A Newlink Company after 25 years of trajectory. This recognition pushes us to keep improving and confirms our commitment to the highest standards in environmental, social, and governance matters. We achieved it thanks to an exceptional team, to our committed clients, and to all our stakeholders, with whom we work side by side every day,” noted the founder.

Along the way, Both has strengthened its commitment by forging key alliances with organizations such as Fundación Diversidad, REDI (Business Network for LGTBIQ+ Diversity and Inclusion), and the Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad. It also drives actions and training programs to raise awareness of various social causes, including the rights and inclusion of LGTBIQ+ people, intergenerational integration, and the support of other diverse groups, fostering an inclusive and respectful environment for all.

Recognition that validates commitment
Both. A Newlink Company has achieved a score of 89 points, surpassing the average of companies in its sector and size. This result reflects not only the strength of its practices but also demonstrates how its strategic and human-centered approach generates tangible value for collaborators, clients, and society at large.

With this distinction, Both joins a global community of more than 10,000 companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental impact, leading a movement that seeks to redefine business success through more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economies and environments.
