Closing ceremony Digitalización FPDUAL Community of Insurance, ZZurich Foundation and Fundación Mapfre - #BHHMembersInitiatives

Last Friday 6th May, the closing session of the 5th edition of the Digital Transformation in Insurance module of FP Dual taught by Community of Insurance (COI) took place at the BHH Headquarters. After several sessions in which the students learn about the latest trends in digital transformation in the insurance sector, they are now creating their own startup in which they put into practice the knowledge they have acquired. The 6 groups belonging to Escola del Treball, Institut Poblenou and Institut Badalonès presented their Insurtech projects in front of a jury of experts formed by Vicente Cancio Garcia (CEO of Zurich), Stefano de Liguoro (Head of Digital at Zurich Spain), Gregory Renand (Director of the ZZurich Foundation), Ricardo Garzó (Territorial Director of MAPFRE Catalonia and Balearic Islands) and Jordi Sanz García (Head of Digital Business Development at the Territorial Directorate General of MAPFRE Catalonia and Balearic Islands). The 3 insurtech finalists presented innovative proposals:

• Insurverse, launched with the idea of creating the first Metaverse Insurer with which to insure your virtual world assets.
• Insuprem, showed us how Artificial Intelligence can help us with the management of our insurance with a simple "Hey Iris..." simulating human conversational ability.
• DreamzZzurance was committed to incorporating a service associated with health insurance that specialises in providing solutions to the problem of sleep disorders such as insomnia, lack of rest, etc.

The winning Insurtech was DreamzZurance, with the jury valuing the staging, the market data, the viability of the project and its rapid start-up.
