The Metropolitan Business Innovation Awards (Metropolitan Awards) want to recognize and reward the most innovative companies created between 2018 and 2022, from the metropolitan area of Barcelona (AMB). There will be 18.000€ distributed among the following three categories: Best Women-Led Business Initiative In order to win, the participating business project must have a majority participation of women in the share capital and in the administration. Best Business Initiative Trade and Tourism For the Award for the Best Business Initiative in the field of Trade and Tourism, the participating company must directly carry out a trade or tourism activity or its activity must have a relevant applicability and/or impact in the field of trade and tourism. Best Industry 4.0 Business Initiative For the Award for the Best Business Initiative in the field of Industry 4.0, it will be necessary for the participating company to be a manufacturing company that uses technologies applied to the so-called Industry 4.0 (IOT, Blockchain, AI, robotics, additive manufacturing, drones, augmented reality, cloud computing, 5G, cybersecurity, digital content, KET technologies, etc.).
