Save the date for the 3rd e-Health Investment Forum Barcelona on June 15

Since 2020, the Barcelona Health Hub, Medical Association of Barcelona (CoMB), EsadeBan and Barcelona Activa, in collaboration with EIT Health, have been organizing the e-Health Investment Forum Barcelona: a unique and specific space for investment in digital health. It has been a great success so far: 88 applications received, 19 startup pitches and more than 1.300 participants from across the globe. Every year, calls are launched to target entrepreneurs leading disruptive projects. After receiving startup applications, an evaluation panel composed of different experts from the health and investment sector shortlist the most promising startups. The selection process, based on the startup technology readiness level, its market opportunity and the team experience, offers investors a great quality dealflow opportunity. This spring, the 3rd edition will be focused on disruptive digital solutions for chronic diseases. More specifically: software, algorithms and digital platforms for prevention, early diagnosis, improving health outcomes and patients management and monitoring of diseases with long duration and low progression that cannot be prevented by vaccines or cured by medication. Those projects could be developed in the areas of aging, cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, immunology and respiratory. We are looking for The event is aimed at projects with the potential to transform how healthcare is delivered, empowering healthcare professionals, improving the patient experience and healthcare output. Startups will be selected in 2 categories: pre seed/seed (up to 1 million euros raised so far) and growth (more than 1 million euros raised so far). Investors from the Spanish/Catalan ecosystem as well as international investors actively investing in digital health will be present. The forum will be held on June 15th, 2022 at 16:00 hrs CET, in the ESADE premises in Barcelona and accessible online. The event will be held in English.
