UK Clinical Trials Networking Breakfast: Ask the Experts event on May 3 - #BHHMembersInitiatives

The British Consulate in Barcelona is organizing the "UK Clinical Trials Networking Breakfast - Ask the Experts" event on Tuesday 3^rd May at at 9:30am, at the Barcelona Science Park. This in-person networking breakfast will bring you unique insights into the world-leading UK clinical trials ecosystem. You will get the opportunity to hear about case studies and pioneering techniques and approaches, as well as ask questions to experts from UK institutions and pioneering companies about NHS access, funding, collaboration opportunities, innovations and challenges. Topics covered will include the impact of COVID-19 on the clinical trials sector and lessons learnt from the pandemic; diversification in clinical trials (a strong point of the UK market); AI, decentralisation and remote clinical trials; in silico trials; patient recruitment, adaptive protocol designs; case studies e.g. in diabetes, liver disease, oncology, COVID-19 vaccines, cholesterol; and the latest advances in the UK clinical trials ecosystem.
